“When we first set up the Yellow Bus, we were really on our own! But through the ZCN we have made friends, collaborators and a whole network of advice and encouragement. I personally feel as if I am part of a caring community. Thank you one and all!”

PATHWAYS AUTISM TRUST

“Suraiya, Zimbabwe Cares Network has been an inspiration and support to Pathways Autism Trust. Connections we have made. Kites for Peace. You yourself have invested in ZCN so deeply and personally and we are grateful. You even came to our humble Centre and played with the amazing autism kids and gave them toys. ZCN is a haven for all PVOs and inspired Champions who are struggling to just keep going, no matter what, in these difficult times. Causes blocked by issues like stigma and exclusion. We all know we are doing the right thing. So the people in this network love, respect and support each other. We have someone to talk to. Even if we are suffering, struggling,  we have fun. We counsel and embrace each other. We dont have to apologise.”

“PAVANA ECD CENTRE”

” One understated benefit of this platform and networking in the group is the encouragement that comes from knowing that you are not alone in believing that the world is beautiful and can be a better place. Many times I have thought of giving up and if anything has kept me going, it is the inspiration drawn from the stories shared here everyday. “

” It is a bonus that we have forged connections with individuals and groups we would have never made without this platform. We have received material support and help from people, some we have never met. At the risk of leaving out some people I will mention support from Stella ( and ACHT), Sean, Sharon, Sue Austin, Suraiya, Hilda and many others who keep connecting us at the point of need. Many of you link us to other opportunities and by the time help gets to us, it would even be hard to connect the dots and know with whom or where it started. You are all amazing people.“

As African Community Health Trust , we have had the opportunity to do what sits well in our hearts , which is helping the less privileged , which I say is serving communities one tooth at a time . In our journey (with the Zimbabwe Cares Network), we have met people who bought into the vision , through p.r initiatives , and an online interview by Bad Rabbit studios that changed our fortunes for the better . Strategic partnerships have been born , professional relationships too . We have found our tribe !

AFRICAN COMMUNITY HEALTH TRUST

For me Zim Cares Network is so personally meaningful, mainly because of Suraiya, who has been an amazing support to our work as Ignite Youth Organisation. I think sometimes Suraiya you don’t realize how much of an impact you’re making on us personally, how your encouragement and belief in what we are trying to do despite the immense challenges we face, keeps us going. I wouldn’t have been a part of ZimCares without your constant and immense support and just encouragement and continuously looking out for opportunities for me and for all of us. You mean so much Suraiya and are appreciated immensely. Thank you for being such a beautiful, caring and wonderful individual and for creating this platform where we can all support each other and help each other solve a variety of issues

IGNITE YOUTH ORGANISATION

The ZCN has done to us as EatOut Movement almost everything that's been said already but beyond that it has helped us believe we could achieve our vision no matter what challenges that might be faced when we hear and see the stories in the family it inspires and motivates us to work even harder. The encouragement and support has been amazing, we are collaborative based movement so this platform has been the perfect place to forge those relationships. Above ZCN has been a source of Hope for us that together we will make Zim great again, we will make Zimbabweans smile again and be that pinnacle of Africa again, we have learnt leadership here and learnt followership here as well. As EatOut Movement we are thankful for all of you and what you are doing all together to help solve problems facing our beautiful nation. Hugs to all of you and looking forward to doing greater things with you.

EATOUT MOVEMENT

I joined ZCN because personally I’m passionate about social justice, social responsibility and doing good in the world. I also strive to support and raise awareness about the resources and services available which is often challenging in Zim. But they are essential for me to share with my patients and community. ZCN has provided Sage ReStorative Health a great platform to share info on holistic and natural health as well as our initiatives in mental wellness with Taking off the Mask (for men) and Taking off the Veil (for women). You all give me hope and inspiration bc the challenges are certainly not ease! Big thanks to Suraiya and thank you for this space and for all you do! Be well Dr Nyarai

SAGE RESTORATIVE HEALTH

“I met ACHT on this  platform and it has been  instrumental in bringing dental care to two vulnerable populations  I support-the older persons and those with disability. They have also benefited from free wheelchairs and shoes (Fagio). This platform has been wonderful for free advertising and keeping me in the loop about what Zimbabwe cares about. Long may this initiative continue.”

PASOC TRUST

“As Put A Smile on a Child, we aim to identify children in need and help give them a “normal life”. So we help meet their different needs by going out and sourcing on their behalf. Our motto is no donation is too small and changing lives one child at a time.

Through Zimbabwe Cares Network we’ve managed to identify charities to work with, we’ve met amazing people and made amazing relationships.
Grateful for those that always have a listening ear.
As Pasoc we are operating in our happy space and happy to have other charities cushion us with so much love and support “

TINODA TRUST

I am forever grateful for the Zimbabwe Cares network for inspiration. When we see others doing things in their communities, knowing that a lot of people are doing something towards the various challenges we face in Zimbabwe it inspires. Signs of Hope has benefitted stationery from the stationery drive, allowing us to cater for over 35 children with disabilities for a year, we also got a slot for Christmas and raised groceries for 10 families at Christmas. There are so many other things we have received support for and we are grateful

MISS ALBINISM TRUST

I'm grateful for this group because it's my ray of hope. I don't often share but I do read a lot of the news. Your work and efforts give me hope in the future of this country. Your willingness to help, your eagerness to continue pushing inspires me to do the same. I'll be the first to admit that I've often wanted to quit, struggling to take care of myself, how can I take care of another. I've spoken to some people on this group and it made me realise that the strength does not come from you, doing good is not about you, but it's a calling. In as much as you want to give up on the calling, you realise that is bigger than you. You realise that you are an instrument simply utilised to give another hope. When I look back at the impact we've had on real lives it makes me realise that the calling may be tiring, it may be unfulfilling, it may be unrewarding but it's a calling and not about you at all! I thank you for your kindness, I thank you for your willingness to answer the clarion call. You inspire me, you continue to give me hope, for that I'm grateful

WITH LOVE FOUNDATION

I do not know where to start on how the ZCN has played an instrumental part in our Organisations Hope Resurrect Trust and in my own personal development. Hope Resurrect Trust seeks to empower the girl child with a disability for her own personal development and the overall development of the nation. We have managed to assist our beneficiaries to start up some income generating projects especially sewing and have some pieces of material donated to us this was through networks that we connected with through ZCN. Also kites for peace has played a vital role in enabling us to raise administration funds to cater for our programs of visiting the girls with their families conducting self-esteem and confidence building programs as it is our aim to cultivate one life at a time. We also invite the girls to the event for kite for peace to enjoy love and foster unity as various organisations and to showcase their work. Personally I have been invited on various platforms to speak about disability issues to school Children and communities as large. The ZCN family has made it easy to never give up as there a people who are resilient and encourage you each day. Thank you for your support everyone let us continue steering the wheel in love and support of each other as it is all our aim and mandate to shine in areas that we are passionate about. #KeepHopeAlive

HOPE RESURRECTS TRUST

We love being part of Zim cares. So much support, advice and kindness. Our charity Ratidzo Foundation Trust works in rural areas and quite cut off at times, so it's great having a support network and keeping connected with the rest of the country. We've also received help and donations through the platform. Keep up the great work all.

Our workshops foster environmental awareness, appreciation and preservation.

They build confidence and teach children and the youth about the basics of positive peace.
